The pinewood derby is the wood car racing event of Scouting America. With the help of adults, Scouts build their own unpowered, unmanned miniature cars from wood, usually from kits containing a block of pine wood, plastic wheels, and metal axles.
Come join us at our annual Salem Pinewood Derby Race and Car show. Pinewood Derby is open to people ages 5 to 100+ years of age.
